Our latest overlay update is packed with features to enhance your broadcasts. The Image Overlay Queue will allow you to rotate between images automatically by a set number of seconds. This overlay will also allow you to resize and reposition your image, as well as change the opacity.
To utilize this new graphic, you will first need to download it in the overlay management window. Click on the blue plus (+) sign in the bottom left quadrant.
In this overlay management window, click on the “download” tab to the right of “open” at the top. Once you find “Image Overlay Queue,” you can checkmark it and click “download.” This will give you a notification in the “open” tab.
Once you have downloaded the overlay, you can check mark it in the “open” tab and click open at the bottom of the window. Drag and drop this overlay from the left side to the right like you would with any visual overlay.
To add an image, click the grey plus (+) sign in the center. Here you will be able to choose a file image, as well as change the opacity before clicking “Apply.”
Note: You will only see the change in opacity in the right-hand preview window.
Example of changing the opacity from 100 to 50:
After you add your image, you will need to click on the image to select it. The image will highlight in blue when selected. Now, you can modify the position of the image by clicking “Position.” For example, you can select “Watermark” to position the image in any corner of the screen. Otherwise, you can keep “Custom Position” selected and move the slider bars to reposition/resize the image. Click “Apply” after you have made your changes to the position.
To add another image, click the grey plus (+) sign again. You can create playlist with two or more images uploaded to the queue and adjust the number of seconds each image shows. Clicking the play arrow will start the rotation of images. For example: I selected three seconds. Therefore, it will rotate between the images in the queue every three seconds. You can press the pause button to stop this feature.
This playlist feature is also a great option for displaying your sponsors’ logos or ads during a timeout or halftime using the fullscreen positioning option.
Now that you have your image overlay ready to go, you can click “Overlay” above the bottom right preview section to display the overlay to your viewers. Clicking “Clear” will clear any “unlocked” overlays from your video stream.
