Creating broadcasts in Production Truck is simple and allows you extensive customization options. This will outline how to quickly get a broadcast setup and some of the required fields that must be entered.
To create a broadcast on Production truck first you will need to click Broadcast on the top of your screen. Then click Create broadcast.
Then a small window will appear on your screen with different fields that need to be filled in before the broadcast can be created. The four required fields are as follows: Section, Title, Event Date, and Contact Information.
Note: Contact Information will automatically fill with the information of the account you are currently logged in under. This just allows BlueFrame Support Staff a name, email, and number to reach out too if problems appear.
The first required field is Section, and in this field the correct category that corresponds with the event being aired should be selected.
Note: Please ensure that the Section you are selecting is enabled on your site. For example, Women's basketball and Men's basketball maybe enabled on your site, but Basketball may not be. Many sites have all categories enabled by default.
The next sections are Title and Description, In these sections an appropriate title is required and a description of the event being aired is also an option but not required.
Event Date is the next required filled and in this section you will need to fill in when the broadcast will be aired and in what timezone. if you want (not required) you can also fill in the expected duration of the broadcast, by default broadcasts are given an expected duration of four hours.
The last required section before we can create this broadcast is the contact information. A name and email is required just in case something goes wrong with Production Truck or the broadcast our support team can contact the producer.
After filling out all the required sections we would recommend double-checking to make sure anything with a red star next to it is not left blank, as these are required fields.
Now you are ready to create your broadcast by pressing 'create' in the bottom left corner of the screen.
