Through vCloud, you can assign a price point that broadcasts will be given when viewers request to download them as a .mp4 file. This allows the viewer to keep that broadcast forever, and save it locally to their device. You can set this up across your entire site, or just at an individual broadcast level. 

Individual Broadcast Setup

First, to setup an individual broadcast for broadcast download price, create your broadcast as normal. Then while either creating or editing the broadcast, navigate to the Settings tab, and choose Access

Scroll down to Viewers have the option of downloading content and select Yes

Then enter in your preferred price for viewers to access this individual download purchase. Once they purchase, they will have access to the .mp4 file of this broadcast. 

Not entering a price, will have the broadcast download be free, or will default to your site's overall broadcast download price, which we will go over in the next section. 

You can then navigate down and select Create or Save once you are done setting up your broadcast pay-per-view. 

Default Site Setup

This setting will make all the broadcasts across your site available for download and under your specified price point. 

From vCloud's main page, navigate to your Settings, then Update Site Settings.

Then, under the Settings area, navigate to the Access tab. Then navigate down to the Viewers have the option of download content option, select Yes, then enter your price point under the Price to download area.

Now all broadcasts on your site, will be available for download under this price point. 

Viewer Perspective

You can verify your broadcast pay-per-view is setup by going to the public-facing site where your broadcasts are hosted. Depending on which of our displays you are utilizing, the broadcast download option will appear differently. 

If you are utilizing our widget, below is how broadcast downloads will appear. 

If you are utilizing our Web App display option, your viewers broadcast download option will appear as below. 

You will then see how the viewer would login, purchase, and receive their confirmation. You will be prompted to Sign-in, this is how you know the broadcast download purchase is enabled. 

After they have entered their payment information, the will receive confirmation that they will receive an email with their broadcast download file. 

It may take several hours before you receive the second email with the download link, depending on the length and quality of the video they have requested to download.
