Cloud Clipping allows you to clip out certain parts of your broadcasts and generate a separate file. This can be useful for clipping out highlights or for promotional material.

Clips can only be up to 5 minutes long.

From the main page of vCloud, navigate to Broadcasts from the Media section.

Find the broadcast you wish to generate clips from, and select the "i" icon on the right.

With the Broadcast Details page open, you should see the video player on screen. Once you begin to play the broadcast and hover over the player, you will see various icons in the lower right hand corner.

The cloud clipping icon looks like scissors.

Selecting this icon will bring up the cloud clipping tool over the video player. The cloud clipping tool will automatically highlight a ten second clip prior to where you were just watching.

At the top are the times where the clip starts and ends. At the bottom of the video player, on the scrub bar, are the points where the clip starts and ends.

The point in yellow is the one you currently have selected, you can drag this points across the scrub bar in order to set where the clip begins and ends.

A small screen will appear above the clip end point that indicates the last video frame of the clip.

Once you have determined where your clip will start and end, you can select Preview in order to play a preview of the clip you have just selected.

With your clip ready to go, you can now select Download. You can download the clip as either a .mp4 file, a .gif, or a .mp3 file that is audio only.

Depending on which format you selected, your clip will generate and begin downloading locally to your computer.
