Our Scorebird integration allows for a Scorebird automated scoring system can be used in conjunction with BlueFrame softwares to automatically update scoreboard data. 


TABLE OF CONTENTS

You must have access to your Scorebird account, via Scorebird.com, in order to have this setup correctly. 


You will then want to make sure you get your Scorebird account set up with your facility, and device added so it can be found and recognized by Production Truck and pull in the correct sporting information. Scorebird Setup and Account

You will need to plug the Scorebird Nest device into power, then proceed to plug into your gymnasiums scoreboard keyboard. 


After this you should be able to power on your Scorebird. You will an internet connection to your Scorebird to get the sports data to populate via your Scorebird account. 



On your Scorebird account you will want to make sure device of scoreboard matches in my facility 


Make sure the correct sport that is linked with the scoreboard under the Shadow area listed under My Devices on Scorebirds account management page. For example, our Daktronics 5000 scoreboard is showing on our system. 


You will need the ID number listed there in order to continue.

Remote Truck

In Remote Truck, navigate up to the upper right and select the Menu, then under the Admin header, selecting Overlays:




Once here you will then see scorebird as an option to connect to.


On the Scorebird menu, you will see all your existing Scorebirds that are connected listed. To add a new Scorebird device, navigate down and select the + icon



You can then enter in your Scorebird information, you will need to enter in the Scorebird ID number for that particular venue's Scorebird's device. You can then add a description in order to identify which venue that Scorebird is for. 


Then hit Add


Back on the Scorebird screen, you will see that device listed. It will be checked when it is selected. 


You can select Overlay to directly take you to the Overlay screen where you can customize your overlay. By selecting Updates On/Off, you can turn Off the Scorebird device from updating the on-screen overlay. 


Note: selecting Reset Devices will reset all your Scorebird devices incase issues occur. 



Selecting Show Output will allow you to see a toggle certain data off/on. By selecting the green check or red x, you can enable or disable certain data from appearing and updating. In the below example we have Home and Away Score enabled by Time, Home Color, and Away Color disabled. 




Production Truck


Navigate to your Production Truck's Settings, then the Scoreboard tab. Then from the Source option select Scorebird


*Note: To see this option you will need Production Truck version 4.4.24 or higher


To add your Scorebird device, select the plus icon. Then enter in your Scorebird devices ID number into the ID Field. Your Scorebird device ID can be found on your Scorebird account. You can enter in a Description in order to label different Scorebird nests for different locations. 


Hit the Add button and you will receive a message that the device has successfully been added. 



Your Scorebird device will be selected and if it is generating data you will be able to see it populate below. Your Scorebird will now automatically populate your Scoreboards!


Each piece of data that Production Truck can receive from Scorebird is displayed. You can uncheck various pieces of data in order for that specific data to not populate on the Scoreboard and for you to enter it manually. 


In order to switch between Scorebirds, uncheck the one no longer being used and check the Scorebird device you wish to recieve data from via the checkbox on the right. It does take a few seconds for the connection to be established and the Status to be changed to Connected
